Our Staff and Qualifications

Our focus is on building a consistent, caring team who treat residents with dignity, We follow the fundamental standards set by the Care Quality Commission to ensure safe, effective, and well-led services.

Our team is at the heart of everything we do. We employ a skilled, compassionate, and experienced workforce who are dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

All care staff are appropriately trained and either hold, or are working towards, recognised qualifications in health and social care, including Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in Adult Care. Senior staff and management hold higher-level qualifications and bring extensive experience in residential care settings.

Our home is led by an experienced management team who are committed to maintaining high standards of care, governance, and continuous improvement. The manager ensures that care delivery is safe, effective, and responsive to the needs of each individual.

We provide a comprehensive induction programme for all new staff, aligned with the Care Certificate standards, followed by ongoing training and professional development. This includes (but is not limited to:

Safeguarding adults
Medication management
Infection prevention and control
Moving and handling
Dementia awareness
First aid

Staff competency is regularly assessed through supervision, appraisal, and quality monitoring processes to ensure best practice is maintained at all times.

We also carry out robust recruitment checks in line with statutory requirements, including enhanced DBS checks, references, and right-to-work verification, ensuring that all staff are suitable to work with vulnerable adults.
